| It is important to remember that when searching for that perfect puppy you may have to wait for that litter to be born. A reputable, and careful breeder does not have puppie’s available at all time’s, and a good puppy is well worth the wait. If you are willing to settle for just any puppy, that is just what you may get…. Any puppy.
Matherne Retriever’s puppies are available on a set litter schedule. We have litters planned for this upcoming year. Your deposit will ensure your litter pick. which is done according to the order in which we receive deposits. If you would like to add your name to our waiting list please print a copy of our DEPOSIT CONTRACT , read it, fill out section's 1, & 5, and mail it to the address below along with your deposit The ballance of the puppy price must be paid when said puppy reaches (6) week's of age.Failure to do so will result in the loss of your deposit unless other term's were agreed upon, & stated in the deposit contract. Generally our puppies are placed in their new homes at (8) weeks of age. We normally do not place them into the new homes prior to this, as puppies require a certain period of time with their Dam, and litter mates, learning essential dog behaviors. Although I feel it should be a "given" that all pups come with thier first puppy shots and have been dewormed...many of you still ask. A health record will be issued including such information for your vet. All pups have their initial vaccination's, and dewormings, and come with a thirty month written HEALTH GUARANTEE. All litters are whelped in my house, with me by the mother's side the entire time, ensuring proper socialization from the moment of birth. Pups are monitored daily for health and personality development, and are well socialized (with special help from my Wife Stacey, 15 year old son Allen, 8 year old son Ray, & 4 year old daughter Jessie).
We love to stay in touch with our new "grand-pups" and many of you will become extended family over the years!
